Promotion
- Michael Kors promote their product and brand in various ways. Instore you are immediately greeted by a sales assistant, and then told of current promotions and sales (Holland, 2017). The sales assistants also push and promote the product as they have to wear current season as their uniform. On the Michael Kors website a “sign up now” pop up window immediately appears where it asks for your name and e-mail address (Kors, 2017). Michael Kors also send out newsletter magazines to customers through the post (Kors, 2017).

On Social media they use cookies to push product (Kors, 2017), and were also the first brand to use Instagram marquee video ads (Vizard, 2015). The brand also advertises in magazines such as Vogue (Pieri, 2016), Porter (Reddinger, 2016), Elle and Vanity Fair (Fashion One, 2017), which all have a wide reader base.
