The #SideWalkSpotted is the first ever streetwear campaign, and described as a digitally savvy shift. The campaign includes celebrities such as Solange Knowles and Hailee Steinfield, and shot by Tommy Ton. The Campaign encourages consumers to share photos on social media, which could then be featured on The Walk’s Platform, on the Michael Kors. website (Saunders, 2017).
The Watch Hunger Stop Campaign is in association with World Food day, where Michael Kors donated school meals. The brand endorsed this campaign by using the hashtag #watchhungerstop, which was used by celebrities such as Kate Hudson and Candice Swanepoel (Kupdates, n.d), along with consumers who received the free campaign t-shirts, creating awareness of the brand, and creating a good reputation (Stop, 2014). |
